Alvaro Lleo, Ph.D., was a 2020 visiting faculty fellow from the Tecnun-School of Engineering of the University of Navarra. He completed two bachelors’ degree in Industrial Engineering and in Industrial Management Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He worked as a continuous improvement engineer in the assembly line of Ford (Spain) and, afterwards, as a human resources consultant. He holds his Ph.D. from the Polytechnic University of Valencia analyzing the role of the ethical rationality in trust relationships between managers and subordinates. Currently, his research is centered on organizational purpose and the development of purpose-driven organizations. He is the academic director of the Purpose Strength Project, an observatory for analyzing the shared purpose generation. He is also a Visiting Scholar in the Hoffman Center for Business Ethics at Bentley University (2010, 2018).
