Maya Mathur, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the Stanford University Quantitative Sciences Unit. Her statistical research develops methods for sensitivity analysis and for evidence synthesis, particularly meta-analysis. Her substantive research focuses on behavior and health and the experimental cognitive sciences. Maya contributes to the research of the Human Flourishing Program by providing both methodological expertise, and also viewpoint diversity in the research process, to help better ensure integrity of empirical results and also balance in interpretation. Maya completed her Ph.D. in Biostatistics at Harvard, her M.S. in Statistics at Stanford, and her B.A. in Psychology at Stanford.
